STEM Speaker Event
First Event, WPS, 160 Herrick Road
This event was our first event and it was fantastic. We partnered with YWIB to get four of our five wonderful speakers from different STEM fields join us and tell us about their journeys. They provided a wonderful insight to us and to our 20+ participants.
BGC Experiment Event
Boys & Girls Club, Newton
In this event we had three stations in which around 50 children from ages 5-11 learned about Civil, Mechanical, and Chemical engineering through fun experiments.
BGC Teen Event
Boys & Girls Club, Newton
In early August we held another event at the Boys & Girls Club in Newton where we taught the teens there about different careers in STEM fields and we ended with a game of jeopardy and prize candy.
